I thought I would give you all a brief introduction before starting to post/ ask questions.

I have been an engineer all of my life and now that I am retired spend time renovating Stationary Engines. Currently own two Lister A 28 S Stationary Engines, shared ownership with one other. I also own a Lister Type 187 Domestic Water Pump which I picked up this week.

The two Listers are in various states of renovation and the aim is to use one of them to drive the pump and take them to shows. The pump is nearly stripped down.

As a keen snowboarder I have always been fascinated by Piste bashers, I finally decided to buy a model and I opted for the PistenBully 600 Level Red from Pistenking, the phrase go big or go home applies in this case. I am hoping to show the PistenBully and the Engines and pump at a show in August 2026.

Ich möchte euch allen eine kurze Einführung geben, bevor ich anfange, Beiträge zu veröffentlichen und Fragen zu stellen.

Ich bin seit meiner Kindheit Ingenieur und verbringe nun im Ruhestand viel Zeit mit der Überholung von Stationärmotoren. Derzeit besitze ich zwei Lister A 28 S Stationärmotoren, die ich mir mit einer weiteren Person teile. Außerdem besitze ich eine Lister Typ 187 Hauswasserpumpe, die ich diese Woche abgeholt habe.

Die beiden Lister-Motoren befinden sich in unterschiedlichem Renovierungsstadium. Ziel ist es, einen davon als Antrieb für die Pumpe zu nutzen und die Motoren auf Messen zu verwenden. Die Pumpe ist fast zerlegt.

Als begeisterter Snowboarder war ich schon immer von Pistenraupen fasziniert. Endlich habe ich mich entschieden, ein Modell zu kaufen und mich für den PistenBully 600 Level Red von Pistenking entschieden. Hier gilt: Ganz oder gar nicht. Ich hoffe, den PistenBully, die Motoren und die Pumpe im August 2026 auf einer Messe präsentieren zu können.

Ich freue mich darauf, helfen zu können und Hilfe zu erhalten. Da ich weder Deutsch lese, schreibe noch spreche, ist Google Translate derzeit die Hauptlast.
